Ipega Controller, Review and Solution(with Ipega game center app)

What's up people, it's Boo once again! First of all i'd like to thank you guys for the 30 views on the first week of blog, and also a big thank you for the person that g+ my last review, that I couldn't find who it was for some reason, you rock!
Today I'll be dropping a review on the Ipega bluetooth gampad that I've bought recently, so Read, Relax and Enjoy!

As you can see, the Ipega PG-9017 is a little gamepad that you can connect to your Android phone or tablet via bluetooth.
By now you probably thought "ok, I've seen gamepads like that, so, what's especial about the Ipega?"
And I tell you. The price!. While the Moga controllers costs from £30 to £70 on ebay, you can easily find the Ipega for under £13. I bought mine for £11,99 with free delivery. And then you ask, "does it work?". And I answer: flawlessly.

Bring you Android gaming experience to a whole new level!

The Ipega comes with the conventional D-pad, A,X,Y,B, Start, Select, R,L keys and two analog sticks. The whole controller feels very solid, which I was impressed with, considering the price, the keys are soft and feel good while gaming. The only thing I didn't like so much about the Ipega was the analog sticks. They are very similar to the old PSP analog. It's similar but not the same, the work much much better then the PSP one, but you still get the feeling that you're fighting against the analog which can make your hands tired after a while, or maybe I just need to get used to it, but they surely work really well.
The only thing that feels cheap is the "thing" that you use to hook you phone to it, it's a simple plastic that is noisy when you're pushing it up, however, once your phone is hooked up to it, it holds the phone really really well, with no chance of dropping. The little hooks also have robbers on them so it doesn't scratch your phone. It can handle some pretty big phones, an Galaxy S4 in my case, and even bigger ones.

It can also handle phones as big as the Note 3 and HTC One.

If by now you're asking yourself if you should get one of those, well,  it depends. First of all, what games are you willing to play with it? If you not a hardcore gamer and usually play Temple run, Bike race and those type games, the Ipega is a no go for you, because it's just not worth it, and your gaming experience will be just about the same as using on-screen controls. But if like me, you're and harcore android gamer, the Ipega is a must have. I've been playing 3 type of games with it, racing with Asphalt 8, Action-adventure with Wild bloog(which I'll drop a review soon) and FPS with Modern Combat 4. I simply loved playing them with the Ipega, Asphalt became even more intense, Wild blood got alot more fun, and MC4 well... as I said, I'm yet not a big fun of the sticks, and I've been playing on the touch screen for 5 months, and I've mastered it, so still trying to get used to the analogs and get some good kills going.
Good portable size!

And now for the solution. Once my Ipega PG-9017 was delivered I was smiling like a kid, tried to play and...:( just couldn't make it work. Started looking on the internet and came across thousands of solutions which none has actually worked. The closest one was using Bluez IME, but only enough to make it work with emulators, and that was not my goal. Finally when I was about to spend some precious pennys on the Gamekeyboard app, I remembered that on the user manual was something about the Ipega game center. Well after that I had some more long search on a Chinese very messed website, download about 5 different apps, till finally found the Ipega game center in English. After that was all happiness again, all I had to do was install and open the app, click on "Add Gamepad" hold Y and home keys on the Ipega controller and BAM!, it connects automatically and works on any game that supports gamepads, sometimes the games recognize it as a Moga controller, but still works great. And to save you guys the trouble, I'll leave a link so you can download the ipegagamecentre.apk from my Dropbox.

So I hope you guys enjoyed the review, and hope the solution helped. Please leave a comment and g+ if you liked it, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
